Shots

I forgot my camera for two weeks in a row. Every day I would leave my dorm with books, notebooks, papers, fruits, carbohydrates, jackets, umbrellas, things I didn't need, while my camera was be left in the drawer, useless and despondent. I finally took out my camera today, blew off the dust and shot some pictures of the cool things I saw.
These are not those pictures.
A few weeks ago we went apartment hunting, but before that we sat and waited for a ghost bus that never came (which, oddly enough, happens a lot. A lot a lot.). I was going to take pictures of apartments we saw and liked, and I shot some stills of Garrett and Kristan. This is what happened. Shot in color, edited to sepia or B+W, adjusted and cropped.

Don't ask what they were looking at- just make it up or let the wonder sink in. Something out of frame caught their attention while they caught mine. There is beauty in not knowing.
Photography is inspiration. It takes a moment and holds it still long enough for a story to be prodigiously produced. Believe it. Let 'em grab you.
